STEREOTAXIS CATH LAB

This project is on the sixth floor, within the Cardiology Department, and consists of the renovation an existing Cath Lab, providing a new Phillips Medical Systems Cath Lab with Stereotaxis Magnetic Navigation System. The Cath Lab and Cath Lab Control Room were renovated to meet the needs of the staff, and to provide adequate clearances for multiple computer and imaging systems, as well as the controls for the Stereotaxis computer-controlled, externally-applied magnetic fields that precisely and directly govern the motion of the internal working tip of the catheter, guidewire, and other magnetic interventional devices.

This project is the first of its kind in Cincinnati, Ohio.
