This interior renovation project entailed creation of eight prep / hold bays for inpatients requiring Radiographic procedures. A prerequisite for the project was that all patient, staff and support spaces be easily monitored from one central Nurse Station. The simple layout is functional, and provides two private and six non-private bays, all within direct observation by the nursing staff. Patient Circulation is facilitated by a simple traffic pattern, and use of double doors with auto operators. The design includes the provision of a handicap accessible restroom, as well as staff work, nourishment, and utility spaces.
