CARL AND EDYTH LINDNER TENNIS CENTER
Cincinnati, Ohio
This 4,100 SF facility has all the amenities any tennis player could ask for, providing interior and exterior concessions, lockers, showers, dressing areas, and restrooms. It also features a small dining area, a meeting room, office space, and trophy cases.PFB Architects was commissioned by the City of Cincinnati to develop a playfield master plan. The goal was to create a unified visual image while providing increased public safety and generating public awareness and use of the playfield. Money donated by the Lindner family, combined with the funds from the City of Cincinnati, made it possible to move forward with this portion of the development, and PFB was commissioned to design three buildings as part of the realization of the playfield master plan. The new Carl and Edyth Lindner Family Tennis Center was officially dedicated May 11, 2000, and the new facility was enthusiastically received by those attending the dedication.
PFB Architects is very proud of their role in the process to turn a dream into a reality. We appreciate the opportunity to make our contribution as architects to better serve those within the Cincinnati community.
